Shelly Tarter brings 25 years of experience in the field of education. Starting as a 3rd/4th-grade teacher, she graduated with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University. Through the eMINTS PD4TS program, she earned a Specialist in Educational Technology from the University of Missouri. Later as a 21^st Century Learning Coach at Joplin High School, she nurtured a culture of innovation and collaboration among students and faculty alike. She obtained a Masters in Administration from MSSU, enhancing her leadership skills to drive educational excellence. She is currently serving as the Joplin Schools Virtual and Alternative Administrator at the Roi S. Wood campus.
